For this week’s Meet our Team Monday post we sat down with Syeda Beenish Sufyan, our HR and Office Administrator who is based in our Dubai office.
Could you tell us a little bit about your background?
“I am an Arts graduate with experience in customer service, administration and human resources which I gained working across different industries. I joined interTouch in January 2021 and am very excited to be part of the team here in Dubai.”
What is the best part of working at interTouch?
“For me the best part of working at interTouch is the friendly and always supportive team culture, which makes the team members my extended family.”
What is the most exciting part of your role?
“There is always something new happening and I enjoy the challenges this brings every day and trying to resolve them with a new approach – this makes my role very exciting.”
What makes interTouch a great place to work?
“What I really value is that the management at interTouch lets team members be themselves and encourage us to vocalise our suggestions and opinions. There is space provided to implement new ideas and the company appreciates every single effort that we put in to achieving our targets.”
What do you see as the biggest trend in (hospitality) technology?
“I think we will see more advancements in contactless payments, smart access via mobile devices as well as online food ordering in hotels.”
What technology do you expect to see in hotels when you travel?
“I find it really important to have quick and easy access to a speedy Internet connection when I travel.”
What is your favourite tech gadget?
“Smart phones, I can’t live without mine…”
Once we can all travel again, what cities/places/destinations are on your bucket list?
“Switzerland is on the top of my bucket list when it comes to travel.”
What is your favourite business quote or mantra?

Do you have a superpower?
“Keeping calm under unfavourable situations is my superpower.”
What three items would you take with you on a deserted island?
“I would take my phone, food and shelter.”
What’s your favourite song?
“I don’t have one song in particular – I like Hindi movie songs.”
And your favourite food?
“My favourite food is a typical homemade Eastern dish called Daal Chawal.”
Tea or coffee?
“Neither for me!”
Do you have a guilty pleasure?
“Yes, I do! I enjoy watching teenage series on Netflix.”
