A note on Log4j Flaw

Robustness and security are at the core of the interTouch value proposition, and we rigorously monitor potential threats that can affect our services and the data privacy of our end customers, our partners, as well as our team.

Since 09 December, a new cyber-attack known as CVE-2021-44228 (Log4j or Log4Shell) has been spreading worldwide. Essentially, attackers are attempting to exploit a critical security vulnerability in the Java logging library Apache Log4j to install malware, steal user credentials and more.

Please note that none of our interTouch products and services you are using rely on the affected Log4j library and are therefore not affected by this threat.

To confirm this our Operations, Security and Development Teams proactively checked our platforms with our vulnerability scanner and revealed that no external or internal services rely on the affected library.

We will continue to observe the situation.
