interTouch poised for continued growth as hotel industry begins recovery
Strategic focus on integrated guest-facing technologies and an optimised company structure to support hoteliers in the ‘new normal’
London, 06 April 2021: interTouch, the leading provider of cloud-based Internet and guest-facing technologies to the global hospitality industry, has announced a broader suite of technologies, including HSIA, interactive guest entertainment and casting, virtual/voice assistants, Passpoint and telephony solutions, to enable hotel guests to connect and control their digital experience throughout their stay.
As a trusted partner to the hospitality industry for over two decades, interTouch was acquired by investment firm Gate Worldwide Holdings in early 2019. To enable continued growth and streamline the company’s global operations across its 30+ offices, Michael Vargosko was appointed as Managing Director for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Ernest Teng as Managing Director for Asia Pacific, in early 2020. These experienced leaders, with decades of hospitality technology expertise, embarked on a planned restructure of the business, which they further accelerated during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We have taken the time to fully optimise and streamline our global operations over the past twelve months, to plan for the introduction of new guest-facing technologies, and to further strengthen our team’s skills and certifications to support our hotel partners even better as they navigate this new normal,” said Michael Vargosko, Managing Director, interTouch.

Over the past twelve months, interTouch moved into new office spaces in Cairo, Mumbai and Dubai, made significant changes to our customer support globally, and went live with its dedicated Arabic customer service. This year, the company is looking to open several additional entities in key growth markets while the interTouch office in China will celebrate its milestone 20th anniversary.
“We’ve had a strong start to the year and are optimistic about the recovery of the hospitality sector with the global roll-out of the various approved vaccines. We are working on several exciting new projects, including hotel renovations and new builds across different markets, including Australia, Egypt, Turkey, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Thailand; and look forward to introducing new technologies that address our hotel partners’ needs for touchless technologies that keep guests safe,” commented Michael.
Ernest added: “Hotels are increasingly looking for solutions to enhance their digital guest journeys and as a result we see strong demand for our casting solution that allows guests to stream and control their own content through the hotel TV, as well as voice-enabled controls. Through interTouch Cast and interTouch Assistant, we support hotels with the enrichment of their digital guest journey, and if they’re already an interTouch Cloud customer for Wi-Fi, interTouch Cast and interTouch Assistant will be seamless additions to their guest-facing technology solutions with us as their one-stop provider.”
